Dentsu International is seeking a Junior Backend Developer on a 12-month contract.

As a Junior Backend Developer, you will be part of our internal Technology function responsible for connecting our businesses and platforms through the development of back-end code integrations.

About the role:

This role will be strongly focused on integrations, and whilst, an existing knowledge in iPaaS and RPA technologies would be ostentatious – having the right attitude and a desire to hit the ground running and learn, will be equally considered. The right candidate will be supported with professional development and on-the-job learning opportunities across our integration platforms.

Key Accountability

• Backend programming and configuration of development services. 
• Create & execute unit and integration testing, including support for Lead Integrations Developer as required.
• Where necessary, engage wider business stakeholders in the creation, release and management of integration and development deliverables.
• Support administration of existing developments and integrations as required.
• Ensure that assigned integration and development deliverables adhere to dentsu coding standards, reflecting best practise integration architecture design and performance quality.
• In collaboration with your Technology peers, contribute to the definition and implementation of the applications development standards, tools, approach, and methodology.
• Prepare and maintain Technical Documentation for all assigned developments and integrations in accordance with existing Technology standards. 

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Experience utilising design technics to demonstrate concepts
• The right candidate will have a strong attention of detail, and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
